Accounting/Bookkeeper

Seeking a full-time candidate (accounting/book keeping background) with room for advancement who will be trained in travel agency operations, and maintain day-to-day agency functions, and who will ensure compliance with industry regulations. We are searching for an organized and dedicated experienced individual.

Responsibilities as an accounting assistant will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with accounting and ticket reporting in accordance with company and airline requirements.
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Verify all tickets to including newly issued, refunds, exchanges, and voids.
  • Run and prepare weekly sales reports for each location.
  • Track commissions from vendors and manage accounts receivables

Requirements/Qualifications (preferred but not required):

  • Proficiency of or knowledge of ARC/IAR submission process and requirements
    is a plus; ARC certification preferred.
  • General knowledge of airline distribution, ticketing, and settlement data and processes.
  • Experience processing high volume ticket reports.
  • Proficiency of Amadeus and or Sabre familiarity is a plus.
  • Prior experience with internal reporting databases; to include the usage of Trams is preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Multi-task, assist where needed, have strong attention to detail, resolve problems independently, and work well under pressure and have a strong ability to work closely with team members and have clear communication.
